Three of her sisters were placed 2nd, 3rd and fourth in this very good class of youngsters.

Oh no, here comes Mum with that flaming camera again, can't go for a walk in the garden in peace. Must try and find some place to hide.

                                                               

Amy came to me from the very well known kennel of Mrs. Joyce Webb  of the Shannonlee prefix, I had only gone to have a look at the litter, and had no intention of having one, but she was set up in show pose for me and that was it, I just had to have her.  After a slow start in the show ring she just took off,  at the age of twelve and half months she took her first Reserve Challenge Certificate under Breed Judge Mr. Brian Greaves at The National Gundog Association Championship Show, it was her first Junior class and what a fine start for this super young lady.

Amy was my first Irish Red and White Setter Show Champion, she is also the dam of Championship show winning offspring and a Show Champion Son - Sh.Ch.Wroxham Strike A Pose (Michael). Amy's grandchildren are continuing  her winning ways, at home - Wroxham Merry Maid (Nina) continues to make her presence felt in the show ring,  Overseas we have the beautiful Hannah - ARBA Ch. Wroxham Mimosa (owner Jill Pauline) and the very handsome Oliver - Canadian Ch. Wroxham Mozart (owner Kim Spelmer).

Her wins so far are 6 Challenge Certificates, 8 Reserve Challenge Certificates, 1 Reserve Best in Show at the Irish Red and White Setter Club of Great Britain. Best Veteran in Show Irish Red and White Setter Club of Great Britain Championship Show. Best Veteran in Show Setter and Pointer Championship Show. She was 12 years old on the 16th November 2004 and continues to keep the rest of the gang on their toes. Amy is enjoying her retirement from the show ring. 

 

Bath Championship 8/6/2001 Amy won Reserve Best Bitch  Judge Mrs Celia George (Jezemay)  

Sunday 10/6/2001 we went to the Irish Red and White Setter Club of Great Britain Championship Show - Amy won the Veteran Bitch class, the Reserve Challenge Certificate and BEST VETERAN IN SHOW not bad for 8.1/2 years old - Judge Mr Frank Kane. (Hirontower). picture below.

National Gundog Championship Show 4/8/2001 Judge Mrs Ann Millington she won Veteran Bitch (she can still show the youngsters how to move!!!!)

 Setter and Pointer Championship Show - 3rd November 2001 'Amy' Veteran Bitch Winner, Best Veteran in Breed and then to  make our day complete she was awarded BEST IN SHOW (Veteran)- way to go Amy!!! ( 9 years old on 16th November, 2001)

Setter and Pointer Championship Show 2nd November 2002 Amy bless her heart at 10 years old wins 1st Veteran Bitch and the Bitch Challenge Certificate......What a 'STAR' she is, many thanks to Mrs S.Williamson (Hawklawn) our judge on the day.
